Heron Suite

This is a place defined not only by its interiors, but also by the world that unfolds just beyond them, where the boundaries between shelter and landscape begin to blur. Perched just above the Manor, in a cabin added to the estate at the turn of the century, the Héron Suite occupies a world of its own: at once secluded, yet intimately tied to the life of the property below.

Encircled by mature maple and birch trees, the suite opens onto a landscape in constant, subtle motion. At first light, the nearby pond, just steps away, draws a chorus of birds, their presence as fleeting as it is rhythmic. The suite takes its name from the heron, often seen skimming low across the water, a solitary figure that mirrors the stillness and unhurried cadence of this place.

Inside, the design is deliberately restrained: a contemporary retreat shaped by space and light. Two generous bedrooms unfold alongside a bathroom with heated floors and a steam shower, inviting a slower pace. Outdoors, a hot tub, private pool, and terrace are set gently into the terrain, offering moments of quiet immersion beneath a canopy of leaves.

Massawippi Lake

Where Time Slows

Each room at our heritage property is more than a place to stay—it’s where time begins to soften. Morning light drifts quietly through the windows as Lake Massawippi comes to life. Days aren’t planned here—they unfold. A yoga session by the water. A drink in the gardens. Or nothing at all. Especially nothing at all.

As evening falls, the heated infinity pool stretches toward the lake, blurring where nature ends and you begin. What lingers is a rare sense of balance: nothing excessive, nothing missing, nothing rushed.
