Le Spa Manoir Hovey
Wellness, guided by nature
On the shores of Lake Massawippi, Le Spa Manoir Hovey draws its character from the landscape that surrounds it. Towering pines, shimmering water and shifting light create a setting where the distinction between indoors and out quietly dissolves, inviting guests to slow down and reconnect with the natural rhythms of the landscape.
Designed in dialogue with the elements, the thermal experience moves through cycles of heat, cold and rest—a ritual that awakens the senses, releases tension and restores a sense of calm. Here, the landscape is more than a backdrop; it is an integral part of the wellness experience.

Thermal Experience
At the heart of the Spa Manoir Hovey experience, the thermal cycle unfolds through a considered sequence of heat, cold and rest. The contrast between each stage awakens the senses, releases tension and encourages a deeper state of relaxation. Complementing the thermal circuit, the outdoor pool is open and heated year-round, offering an ever-changing perspective on Lake Massawippi and the surrounding landscape.
Thermal Cycle
Repeated at your own pace, the ritual invites you to slow down and become more attuned to the body and its sensations.
The Art of Care
From therapeutic massage to personalized facials, each treatment is delivered with care, precision and an attentive understanding of individual needs. Our practitioners take a considered approach, complemented by a selection of organic and environmentally conscious products.
The Art of Place
Deeply rooted in its surroundings, the spa features works by Quebec artists, including Yechel Gagnon and Marc Samson, selected for the dialogue they create with the architecture and surrounding landscape. Art and design become an extension of the setting itself, reflecting the nature, culture and creative spirit of Quebec. Created especially for the opening of the spa, the portrait of Elizabeth Taylor—titled Brave—is an emblematic work born of a collaboration between Melissa Provencher, Hilary Webster, and artist Marc Samson. Through signatures, personal symbols, and inspiring quotations, the artwork celebrates the creativity, intuition, and feminine strength that guided the project.

From the materials we use to the products and partners we select, the spa takes a considered approach to sustainability, guided by respect for the land and its resources. This philosophy is reflected in thoughtful practices that place wellness within a lasting relationship with the natural environment.
